Rachel Taft

Junior Carpenter, Beekeeper

Rachel joined our Mizell Honey family during her junior year of high school as a part time beekeeper and carpenter in our equipment shop. As Alex’s cousin, Allen’s niece, she was a no-brainer addition to our family owned business. Immediately Rachel wow-ed us with her dedication, quick learning, and hardworking attitude, quickly becoming an integral part of our work flow. When Rachel isn’t at the equipment shop or in school, she can often be found out on the softball or soccer field - A true gifted athlete. Although she still has plenty of time to decide what career to pursue following high school, Rachel has mentioned hopes of becoming a teacher one day. One thing is for sure, wherever Rachel goes in life, she will bring 110% and be successful.

Rachel is avidly involved in her family church where her father happens to be the pastor. She is the true definition of a Christian always leading with kindness. Through her church Rachel supports her local community by consistently helping coordinate events, food drives, and elderly meals.
